Mesh it Out

Fabric and mesh seem to have dominated the activewear market these days. Without a poll test we can only guess why they’ve gained so much traction, but I do remember what I personally experienced when I laid my eyes on them the first time. For a very long time our sportswear are made out of cotton for outfits and leather for shoes, for obvious reason: these materials are breathable and skin friendly and durable. But when trainers started to adopt the fabric as a main shell material the world just went bananas! Why? Because they are refreshing, aesthetically and literally.

Same goes with mesh material making their way to leggings and tops. Comparing to normal lycra or cotton like fabric, mesh is extremely sexy, and, subtle. It is not easy to put these two together, sexy is usually on the explicit side of the spectrum while subtlety is more implicit. Most women on a daily basis try their best to strike a balance between these two, all of sudden they are presented with this magic fabric that effortlessly does it all! And we haven’t even talked about how breathable and light it feels on your skin. Wait till you have a hot yoga session then you will know what I am talking about. Below are a couple of quick tips on how to put a mesh element in your daily outfit, you can easily pull them off from studio to street to brunch and then to a bar, still looking chic and cool:
